Although this site doesn’t list Maggie’s Diner (in Madrid) as one of the attractions, it is right in the heart of town.  Movie buffs might enjoy stopping at Maggie’s, which was built as part of the set for the movie Wild Hogs.

“Maggie’s Diner” built for Wild Hogs in 2007 has reopened as a gift shop on Madrid’s main street. Everyone takes pictures and there are several photos of the diner under pictures of Madrid. Another great movie town on the Turquoise Trail is 3 miles north of Madrid. Cerrillos is where the film Young Guns was made in 1988, also Outrageous Fortune with Bette Midler and John Carpenter’s Vampires!

And now you can go into Maggie’s Diner!  The owners have opened it on the weekends as a retail store where you can purchase your “Wild Hogs” t-shirt, ballcap, poster, etc.  It is #48 in the 2010 Turquoise Trail brochure and listed with The Great Madrid Gift Emporium.  The same can be found on this website under Madrid. Come for a visit soon!
