Bureau of Land Management & The Public Lands Information Center and the Santa Fe National Forest offices have new buildings south of Santa Fe, on the Turquoise Trail. They are each hosting Open Houses on February 18th and invite everyone to the receptions.
BLM & Public Lands Information Center Open House is 1-3pm, they are located at 301 Dinosaur Trail, 1 mile north of Hwy 599 & Hwy 14. (505) 954-2000
Santa Fe National Forest Open House is 3-6pm, they are located at 11 Forest Road, at the interstection of Hwy 599 & Hwy 14. (505) 438-530

I went to the openings of both these facilities.  What great assets they are to the Turqoise Trail!  Check out the bookstore at the BLM.  They have every map and book on NM you could possibly need or want.  A must stop on the Trail!
