In 2000, the Turquoise Trail Association developed an inventory of resources along the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway. If you have information, photos, or names of experts that have that type of information, please let us know. You can contact us by e-mail or call one of the individuals listed on the CONTACTS page. Chapter 5 of the Corridor Management Plan contains information on our major resources, so you might want to review that information. New information will be placed in our files and some of it will appear on this website. Our goal is to provide the public with information, so that we may protect and preserve our resources, while allowing their beneficial use.

As new resource information is obtained, it may appear on this and other pages, so bookmark this site and check back every few weeks and see more of what makes the Turquoise Trail a great place to visit.
On a cloudy day at Sandia Crest you can still see for miles as did these visitors from Texas.

Stop on the Turquoise Trail and enjoy the great expanse.
