A 1, 350-acre Santa Fe County Open Space Preserve managed by Santa Fe Botanical Garden. Hiking in the Preserve is by tour only. For more information and the tour schedule please go to the website or call the Santa Fe Botanical Garden.

National Scenic BywayOn June 15, 2000 the Turquoise Trail received designation as a National Scenic Byway from the The National Scenic Byways Program after completing a comprehensive corridor management plan.
