We are a family owned and operated business and lifelong residents of the area. We are located on our private ranch close to Santa Fe. We will strive to make your experience with us a pleasant and memorable one. Our ranglers are courtious and friendly. We offer a truly unique and unmatched western experience. The 1 hour ride takes place on the Lone Butte Ranch which was originally homesteaded in 1882 and owned by our family since 1954. The 2 hour ride begins on our ranch and then we ride by the location of a nearby western movie set (subject to availability) where legends like John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Kevin Costner and countless other famous movie stars have filmed movies over the decades. Sunset ride includes a short hike up historic Lone Butte Mountain for an unobstructed view of our beautiful sunsets (6/1 through 10/15).
1hr ride - $50.00 per person
2hr ride - $75.00 per person
Private ride (1 guest) 1 hr - $65, 2hrs - $85
Sunset ride - 11/4 hrs - $65.00 per person
Credit Cards accepted. We schedule rides by appointment only. A 24 hr notice is recommended, however 4-5 hr notice is sufficient in most cases. All ride descriptions, costs, and availabiltity are subject to change until reservations are confirmed. More Western Theme Package Options available.

Tijeras Pueblo Archaeological Site - "Living with the Land" Free tours, lectures, workshops, demos. Interpretive Center.
Broken Saddle Riding Co. - Ride the Cerrillos Hills State Park. Silver & Turquoise Mines. Missouri Fox Trotters, Tennessee Walkers. Walk, Trot, Canter or Gallup. Small groups/private rides.
Sandia Peak Summer Chairlift - Enter Cibola National Forest and take a scenic chairlift ride gliding over the lush forest below. The more adventurous can take their own mountain bikes (or rent one) up the chairlift and ride down over 15 miles of trails. Enjoy specialties at the outdoor grill. Weekends & holidays, Open Memorial Day thru Labor Day.

National Scenic Byway
On June 15, 2000 the Turquoise Trail received designation as a National Scenic Byway from the The National Scenic Byways Program after completing a comprehensive corridor management plan.The plan is available for review here »
